AMEDLA Asociación Médica Dental Latino Americana A.C., operating as the authorized user of the registered trademarks AMEDLA Asociación Médica Dental Latino Americana®, Halo Awards®, and AMEDLA USA™, as well as its affiliates and associated programs (hereinafter, the "Controller"), with registered address at Cedro 60, Los Reyes Ixtacala, Tlalnepantla de Baz, State of Mexico, C.P. 54090, makes this Privacy Notice available to you in compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.

1. Personal Data Collected

The Controller may collect your personal data directly or indirectly through any physical, electronic, optical, audio, or visual means, whether current or future. This includes websites, digital platforms, forms, emails, messaging services, and official social media channels.

The personal data we may process includes, but is not limited to:

  • Identification data: Full name, CURP, official ID, and photograph.
  • Contact data: Email address, phone number, and address.
  • Academic and professional data: Professional degree, professional license, specialty, and institution of graduation.
  • Tax data: RFC and Tax Status Certificate (for CFDI issuance).
  • Image and voice data: Photographs and recordings taken during in-person or virtual events.

2. Purposes of Processing

Primary Purposes (necessary to provide the service):

  • Management of registrations, enrollment, and attendance control for diplomas, courses, webinars, congresses, and events.
  • Issuance of certificates, diplomas, and documents with curricular value.
  • Payment processing and electronic invoicing.
  • Customer service and communication related to the services.

Secondary Purposes:

  • Sending information about new programs, events, and promotions.
  • Use of image and voice in promotional materials and social media.
  • Sharing with sponsors and commercial partners for sending information and benefits.

3. Financial Data and Payment Gateways

For payment processing, AMEDLA uses secure third-party payment gateways. AMEDLA does not store or have access to complete banking data (card number, CVV, etc.). This data is processed directly by the payment gateways in accordance with their own privacy notices.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

AMEDLA may transfer your personal data within and outside Mexico to the following categories of recipients:

Necessary transfers: Your data may be shared with payment providers, technological platforms, and educational authorities when necessary to provide the service. These transfers do not require your consent.

Secondary transfers: Your contact data and professional profile may be shared with sponsors, commercial partners, and related entities (including AMEDLA USA) for sending information, scholarships, and promotions.
